How to read this: the audit evaluates the current digital system, not the quality of the company, its people or its work. The goal is to highlight practical opportunities and build on the trust already earned.
Digital Presence, Six Categories, Ten Points Each
32/ 60
C−
The hard part is already done. Pure Sight & Sound has a clean modern website, real credentials (triple-certified designer, THX, acoustics), 20+ years in business, and a genuinely excellent reputation, including a 5.0-star Google profile with 53 reviews. The opportunity is to connect that proof more clearly: feature it throughout the website, bring the visual channels back to a steady rhythm and build dedicated pages around the services local buyers actually search. The credibility is already established; the next step is making it easier to discover.
The Scoreboard, Six Categories
Google Profile & Reviews9 / 10 · Strong
9 / 10
5.0 stars, 53 Google reviews, plus HomeAdvisor 4.8 (25) and Yelp 5.0 (6). Verified profile, photos, correct phone and hours. This is the single best asset in the whole footprint and most competitors can't match it.
Website6 / 10 · Good base
6 / 10
Modern, fast, mobile-friendly, clean CTAs, on WordPress + Yoast. Golf simulators are a smart differentiator. Gaps: thin page depth (no service or location pages), no fresh content, and the Google reviews aren't surfaced anywhere on the site.
Social Presence3 / 10 · Critical
3 / 10
Instagram: 29 followers, last post April 2025, over a year dark. A visual, portfolio-driven business with a strong opportunity to reactivate its visual channel. The biggest active-growth gap in the footprint.
Content & Video4 / 10 · Early
4 / 10
A business built on highly visual installations, theaters, golf simulators and smart homes, with a limited active photo and video library. The most watchable work in the market is going unfilmed. This is the whole opportunity.
Findability / Local Search5 / 10 · Fair
5 / 10
Ranks on name and reputation, but thin page depth means it's not built to rank for what local buyers actually search (no service or location pages). A couple of stale third-party listings (Yelp, Pocono Builders) carry old phone numbers, low-priority cleanup.
Lead Capture & Conversion5 / 10 · Fair
5 / 10
The site has clean CTAs, but no links to the 5.0/53 Google profile, no "leave a review" button, and no social icons anywhere. The equity Ed has earned is not yet surfaced clearly at the moment visitors are deciding.
Key Findings
Strength The reputation is already won, it's just hidden
A 5.0 with 53 Google reviews is rare in this category and is the strongest possible trust signal for a high-ticket install business. The opportunity is to put that reputation to work more visibly by featuring it on the site, strengthening the homepage and adding social proof near key decisions.
Priority opportunity A visual business ready for a more active portfolio
The work is the marketing, finished theaters, hidden wiring, golf sim bays, before/afters. That content is not yet represented consistently in public channels. 29 Instagram followers and a year of silence means every prospect has to imagine the quality instead of seeing it. The installations already happen; a repeatable capture process can make them visible.
Opportunity The site isn't built to be found
One broad Services page is currently carrying too many search topics. Dedicated service pages can give each priority offering a clearer opportunity to rank. There are no dedicated service pages, no location pages, and no fresh content. Competitors leaning into "smart home / Control4 automation" and golf simulators are capturing searches Ed could own with his certifications.
Strength Strong technical foundation
WordPress + Yoast, canonical tags, mobile viewport, lazy-loaded images, indexable, sitemap present, social/OG tags in place. The plumbing is healthy, which means the SEO work below is mostly additive, not a rebuild.
SEO Opportunities
Split into one-time technical fixes and ongoing content. The technical items strengthen ranking and put the 53-review profile to work; the content items create pages to actually rank, and double as source material for short-form video.
Quick Technical Fixes
One-time cleanup · onboarding sprint
Valid LocalBusiness / Organization schema for identity, address, geo, hours and services. Surface the 5.0/53 reviews for conversion, but do not promise self-serving review stars in search.
Rewrite the homepage title (currently 127 chars, cut off by Google) to lead with "Home Theater Installation in Stroudsburg, PA."
Embed Google reviews + "Leave a Review" button on the site so the reputation is visible at the point of decision.
Add useful alt text, 6 of 10 images have none. This improves accessibility and gives search engines better context for a highly visual business.
Full NAP in the footer site-wide, matching the Google profile exactly.
Ongoing Content
Recurring · retainer lane · feeds video
Dedicated service pages, one each for home theater, surround sound, home automation, golf sims, commercial AV.
Selective, proof-rich location/project pages for Poconos markets where he has real installations, coordinated with the website/SEO team.
Short-form video on every install, reveals, walkthroughs, golf-sim demos, revives Instagram and feeds the gallery.
Intentional internal linking from the homepage, service pages and project gallery into the website/SEO team's mapped pages so users and crawlers can reach the strongest evidence.
One on-site shoot feeds three things at once: the Instagram revival, the project-gallery pages, and video-SEO content. See the separate Website & SEO Content Plan for the 10 ranking topics.

The Math
A home-theater project can carry meaningful value, but the plan should be judged on attributed consultations, qualified opportunities, close rate and gross margin, not on a one-job ROI promise. The goal is to help the right homeowners understand the work, trust the team and take a measurable next step.
Ready when you are, Ed
Next step is a short call to walk through this together. No contract, no pressure. The first month does the convincing.
