Stop renting leads.
Start owning your pipeline

You're spending real money every week on leads you don't love and don't own. Here's where that money goes, the three ways forward, and why being in Florida hands you an edge most agents in the country can't touch.

The problem

What $2,500 a week actually buys

You're buying vendor leads, often shared with other agents, at vendor pricing, and you've said the quality isn't there. Same dollars, run through channels you own, buy more and better.

~37
Bought leads per week at ~$67 each (sometimes ~$50). Your A leads are yours alone; B leads and below are shared with other agents
~83
Your own exclusive Meta leads per week at ~$30 each, nobody else competes for them
$500–$2K+
Typical first-year commission per policy, so a few new policies a month cover the whole build
The bottom line: the same budget in channels you own can mean more leads, exclusive instead of shared, plus an audience, data, and brand that stay yours. Right now, the day you stop paying, the leads stop. That's income, not equity.

Doing now

Buy leads

~$50–67 / lead · your current pricing
  • Zero setup, dial today
  • Predictable volume
  • Expensive & often shared
  • You never own the lead
  • Quality complaints (yours)
Fine as a temporary floor, not the whole plan.
Build this

Your own Meta ads

~$20–35 / exclusive lead
  • Cheaper per lead, and exclusive
  • Exclusive, no competing agents
  • You own the audience & data
  • Your face = higher answer rates
  • Needs a skilled, compliant operator
Best long-term economics. Scales your volume.
Florida unlocks

Google LSA

Pay-per-lead · inbound
  • Only CA & FL allow it, you qualify
  • Highest intent: they're searching now
  • Google-Verified badge = trust
  • Dispute junk leads for credit
  • Volume capped by search demand
A real edge most agents can't run. Test it first.
The Florida edge

Why Google is the crown jewel

Google Local Services Ads put you at the very top of search with a verified badge, paying only per lead, and someone typing "mortgage protection Florida" or "life insurance agent near me" is ready now. Google only allows insurance agents to run these in two states in the whole country: California and Florida. You're in one of them. That's not a small thing, it's an advantage your competition in 48 states literally cannot access. It won't fill a whole calendar by itself (search demand caps it), which is exactly why we pair it with Meta for scale.

And the bar is very reachable. In your own South Florida market, a life-focused agency sits at the top of Google's map with about 90 reviews, and you're starting at zero. That's not a mountain; it's ~90 reviews of honest work. Reviews are the single cheapest lever you have to outrank people, and most agents never bother to work them.
The local landscape

Who you're actually up against

A quick scout of your South Florida market, the real picture, not guesswork.

Generic search is crowded, but not with you
The top of Google's map for "life insurance agent" is broad property-and-casualty brokers (one sits at 4.7★ with ~1,400 reviews). Not really your lane.
Life-specific is thin
A focused life agency reached the top with just 5.0★ and ~93 reviews, doing online appointments, almost exactly your model. That's the bar, and it's reachable from zero.
LSA is wide open
What ranks today is organic profiles, few or no agents running Local Services Ads. The early-mover window is still open.
Translation: you're not fighting a crowded field, you're stepping into a thin one, holding a Florida-only tool most agents can't touch. Reviews (then reviews + LSA) are how you leapfrog everyone.
The payoff

What your budget could produce

Same kind of money you spend today, run through channels you own. Mapped across both engines at $500/week each.

Meta ads · $500/wk
≈ $2,150 /mo
Exclusive leads / mo~70
Booked calls / mo~10–25
New policies / mo~3–8
Cheap volume you own. Cooler leads, wins on speed & fast follow-up.
Google LSA · $500/wk
≈ $2,150 /mo
Inbound leads / mo~35–50
Booked calls / mo~10–20
New policies / mo~4–10
Fewer, but red-hot, they call you. Higher close; volume capped by search demand.
Run both, ~$1,000/wk (≈ $4,300/mo) → about 105–120 leads, 20–45 booked calls, and 7–18 new policies a month, exclusive and owned. At $500–$2,000+ first-year commission per policy, a few sales cover the whole build.

Illustrative 2026 benchmarks: exclusive social leads ~$20–40; Google LSA insurance leads ~$40–70 (inbound phone calls that close harder); ~40–70% contact, ~30–50% appointment, ~25–50% close. Your real close rate and local search demand will move these.

Don't rip the bandaid off

Keep cash flowing while we build. The sequence protects your income and shifts the economics in your favor over the first 90 days.

1.
Keep a reduced bought-lead flow as a floor, no income gap.
2.
Launch Google LSA (your Florida edge) + one tight Meta campaign, both feeding fast follow-up.
3.
Track cost-per-sale, not per lead. As owned channels prove out at a lower cost per sale, throttle bought leads down.
4.
Turn closed clients into a review + referral engine, which feeds your Google ranking right back.

Figures use mid-range vendor pricing and 2026 life-insurance lead benchmarks; your real numbers will sharpen them. Google LSA insurance eligibility is limited to California and Florida per Google's official category list. This is a marketing strategy overview, not legal, tax, or investment advice.
