Digital Presence Audit
Prepared for Kyle Maloney · October 2, 2026

You already rank first. Now the listings need to agree with you.

Search "well pump repair stroudsburg pa" and your site comes up first. Look a little closer and Google calls the business a well driller, Facebook links to a website that doesn't load, three different phone numbers are attached to your name, and there isn't one photo of your crew on any of the 21 pages of your site. All of it is fixable, and most of it doesn't need a camera.

02 What's working

The foundation is already there

Before the fixes, the things worth protecting.

First for the search that matters

On October 2, 2026, a Google search for "well pump repair stroudsburg pa" put poconowellandpump.com at the top of the regular results, and your repair page showed on page one too. In the map results you were second.

103 reviews, and you answer them

4.6 stars. Recent reviews got replies within weeks, and the replies read like a person wrote them. Reviewers mention Kyle and Mike by name.

The site says the right thing

"No water? We find out why. Then we fix it." Then the same checks in the same order every time, starting at the pressure switch and the tank before anyone blames the pump.

Two articles that are already scripts

"No Water This Morning? The Five-Minute Check Before You Call Anyone" and "Iron and Sulfur in Your Well Water: The Signs, and What Actually Fixes Them," both posted July 30, 2026. They read like a tech talking a homeowner through it. They're the first two videos.

A form that sorts the calls

It asks whether the water is out right now and whether the person owns, rents or manages the home, before anyone drives out.

Financing is on the page

Hearth financing is linked from the homepage and covered in the FAQ for larger repairs and installs.

03 The Google profile

Google calls you a well driller. Your site says you don't drill.

The profile is what a homeowner sees in the map before they ever reach your site, so it's the first thing we'd fix. Here is what it shows today next to what your own site says.

What Google showsWhat your site saysThe fix
Primary category: Well drilling contractor"Pocono Well and Pump Service LLC does not drill wells." (FAQ and the New Well Systems page)Switch to the closest pump and water-service category Google offers, and take drilling off.
Description: "Well drilling specialists serving the Poconos and Lehigh Valley with complete installation & repair of well pumps, water treatment, water softening, septic systems, hot water heaters."Diagnosis first. Pumps, tanks, controls, water testing and treatment.Rewrite it around the work you actually do, in your site's words.
Hours: "Closed · Opens 7 AM," checked at 12:30 AMWeekdays 7 to 7, and "emergency no-water calls are answered at (570) 243-1679 either day" on the weekend. If no-water calls get answered after 7 PM too, the profile should say so. At the same hour, three of the four listings in the Stroudsburg map results showed "Open 24 hours."
Google Posts: none on the profileA Google Post every week, made from your footage.
Photos: the photos up front show a truck parked at a houseThe site has no photos at all.New photos from your footage, and from a shoot day later. The crew, the trucks, pumps, tanks and finished installs.
Reviews: you're replying to recent ones. A one-star from about six months ago has no reply.Answer it, short and calm. The next person reading it is deciding whether to call you.
04 Your name across the web

Three phone numbers and two street addresses

Same business, different details depending on where someone looks. Every listing should carry the same name, phone, address and hours. It also keeps a caller from dialing a number that may not reach you.

Yelp, second listingPocono Well and Pump Service21 Walbert Dr(570) 243-1679Unclaimed. One review, one star. Listed under Well Drilling

The fix is one decision

Pick one name, one phone number, one address and one set of hours. If you'd rather not show a street address, Google lets a service business hide it and show the towns it covers instead. Then every listing gets the same details. We claim Nextdoor and Yelp, and report Yelp's second listing as a duplicate.

05 The BBB page

An F from the BBB, for complaints left unanswered

The Better Business Bureau rates Pocono Well and Pump Service LLC an F. BBB lists two reasons: "Failure to respond to 3 complaint(s) filed against business" and "3 complaint(s) filed against business." The file opened January 5, 2024, the business isn't accredited, and the phone number on the page is (570) 977-7015.

That page shows up on the first page of Google when someone searches "pocono well and pump."

The replies are yours to control, so that's where to start. Replies go in through BBB's site and they come from you. We'll draft short, calm replies for you to approve and send, and get the phone number corrected.

07 The website

A good site with nothing to look at

Your site runs on Marketta, and it gets the hard part right. It ranks, all 21 pages are live, and it says what you do in plain words. What it doesn't have is anything a homeowner can look at. Marketta is the same platform we already keep up for other clients, so this list is ours to work through. Two items need an answer from you, and the page addresses go to Marketta's team because they sit on the platform side.

1

Photos and video

None of the 21 pages has a single photo or video. The only images are water textures behind the text. Your About page already promises a crew page "with each person's full name, role, tenure and photo, as soon as we have them." Your own photos can fill it first, and a shoot day can fill the gaps later.

2

The Well Pump Guide

It sits in the top menu and reads like an old article run through a rewriter: "superficial well pump" for shallow well pump, "actors iron" for cast iron, a Wisconsin DNR citation, and "I can supply normal prices:" with no prices after it. We'd rewrite it in the voice of your July articles, or take it down if you'd rather.

Us
3

Five people or four

The About page says customers "name the same five people," then lists four. Tell us who the fifth is, or we change it to four.

YouUs
4

Your PA HIC number

No PA registration number appears on any page. Pennsylvania's Attorney General says "contractors must include their registration number in their advertisements, contracts, estimates and proposals." If you have a current number, it belongs in the site footer, on the Google profile and on every estimate.

YouUs
5

"Drilling" in two page addresses

Your Mount Pocono and Brodheadsville pages live at addresses that include "drilling," and both pages say you don't drill. We'd ask Marketta to move them to new addresses and send the old ones to the new pages, so links that point there now keep working.

UsMarketta
6

The review count

The site says "97+ Google reviews." Google shows 103. We'd update it, or have it pull the live number.

Us
7

Video, once it exists

Each service page gets its matching video, and the footer gets YouTube next to Facebook and Instagram.

Us
8

One order for the checks

The homepage, the About page and the FAQ each list the no-water checks a little differently. The FAQ's order is pressure switch, tank, wiring and motor, then the pump. The shoot plan films that order, so the other two pages should match it.
