Who else your clients see
and where the opening is

On October 7 I searched the way your next client would: Google from the Poconos, YouTube, and Instagram. Here's who shows up, what they do well, and what none of them have. Every number on this page is dated, with its source named under it.

01 · The field

A crowded field, chosen on trust

The number of coaches grew 15% in two years, and most of them sound alike. People choose on what they can see before the first call: reviews, credentials, and whether they've already watched you talk.

02 · What a client finds on Google

Four searches, and you're on none of them

Searched October 7, 2026 from a browser in the Poconos. Google changes results by place and by day, so treat this as a snapshot.

03 · Side by side

Five names that came up, next to you

Two lead your lane in the New York area, two lead the map near Stroudsburg, and one is the platform buying ads on every search above.

04 · What the leaders do

Four things they have that you don't, yet

01

Reviews where people search

The two New York area leaders have 64 and 65 Google reviews. The coaches with the most reviews on the Stroudsburg map have 6 and 10. The client stories on your homepage stay there, where a stranger searching Google never sees them.

In the pilot: the Google profile from week one, if you meet clients in person, and a simple ask for reviews from past clients.

02

The credential in the first line

Allison Task's Instagram bio opens with "Change Coach | MCC." Annie Lin's lists BBC, NBC, ELLE and New York Magazine. Your degrees are on the Jay Shetty directory, not on your own site or your Instagram bio.

In the pilot: the credentials block, in words you approve, on your site, your bio and the end of every main video.

03

One free first step, named plainly

Allison Task, Evan and Flo Zurkinden each name one free first step: an intro session, a 20-minute call, a connection call. Annie Lin asks you to apply. You have three booking paths across Calendly and Wix.

In the pilot: one booking system, and every post and video ends on the same next step.

04

A long video every week or so

Evan has six Google reviews and 5.15K YouTube subscribers. What stands out is 762 videos, a new 10 to 14 minute session about every week, and a channel description that links to the site's "work together" page. Allison Task has 17.1K Instagram followers, but the YouTube channel linked from her site has nothing newer than 8 years ago.

In the pilot: three main YouTube videos, one a month, with everything else cut from them.

Evan's three newest uploads on October 7, 2026: 10:01 (3 days old), 11:55 (10 days), 13:38 (2 weeks).
05 · Where you win

What none of them can say

Trained in psychology

Your Jay Shetty page lists a bachelor's and two master's degrees in psychology and a Ph.D. in progress. None of the five above show anything like it. We say it as coaching, never as therapy, in your words.

English and Spanish

Your directory page lists both. The search for a bilingual mindset coach turns up tutors and kids' programs. No coach's own website made the first page. A Spanish version of your best video could stand out there.

You already film yourself, and people watch

Twelve Reels between September 14 and October 1, with a median of 946 views each. That came right after 63 days without one, so the plan's job is keeping that pace steady.

Your prices are public

Of the four coaches above, only Evan publishes prices too. People who reach your discovery call already know what you charge.

06 · The niche

Your message is already what people search

Your YouTube channel description starts with four words: "Your life fell apart." Here's what YouTube showed for that idea on October 7. Long videos, 6 to 43 minutes, on exactly your topic.

YouTube search results and view counts as shown on October 7, 2026. Views are lifetime totals, not monthly.
Your lane, in one line: high achievers whose life fell apart, rebuilding with a coach trained in psychology, in English or Spanish. No one in these searches shows all of that. That's what the three main videos are built on.

What this changes in the plan

The pilot now starts from three main YouTube videos, one a month, with the short posts cut from them. The plan page shows it as a tree.
