Decision compass
Roughly 70% music development, 20% live craft and 10% documentation. Use it to protect priorities, not to police hours.
Active work
Synema chooses the projects, milestones and dates. The portal does not invent track titles, completion claims or release deadlines.
Explore → Select → Finish → Test → Release → Document
| Stage | Question | Useful evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Explore | What idea, genre or emotional direction is worth following? | A sketch or observation worth revisiting. |
| Select | Which two or three projects deserve focus now? | A small active list and a reason for each choice. |
| Finish | What is the next concrete production decision? | An export, completed section or finished version. |
| Test | What exact passage, edit or transition needs a real response? | Notes from trusted listeners or an available room. |
| Release | Is the music, artwork, metadata and permission path ready? | A confirmed release decision—never an assumed date. |
| Document | What moment says something useful about the work? | One studio, live or chapter asset in the archive. |
List two or three existing works and one specific next action for each.
Compare versions, finish sections and decide which ideas deserve more time.
Use trusted listeners or a real room when it helps answer a musical question.
Record what moved, what repeated across the work and what distracted from it.
From Synema’s playbook / Music development
The purpose of records 2–10 is not to lock SYNEMA into a permanent formula. It is to generate enough evidence to discover the formula.
Track recurring choices: chords, vocal character, drums, bass, textures, arrangement, tension/release and emotional tone.
Notice what survives genre changes. Those recurring traits become Sonic DNA.
From Synema’s playbook / DJing
From Synema’s playbook / Monthly operating rhythm
Deep music work / active records.
Optional: one studio fragment if genuinely interesting.
Music + DJ preparation / edits.
Optional: a process clip or music discovery Story.
Finish/test/revise.
Optional: ID test, DJ moment, or studio → club clip.
Release/admin/review + next project selection.
Optional: chapter/photo diary if the month contained a real story.
Shows override the template. A meaningful show becomes a capture opportunity; the music schedule should still remain protected.
Robato ideas / Optional, for discussion
Only use an experience when it advances a set or original already underway and fits the available time, cash and production limits.
Seasonal option
Develop a set Synema already wants to make. Use a dedicated driver, Synema as passenger, secured equipment and clear driver visibility; test while parked. If unsuitable, film a parked set plus truthful scenic cutaways.
Route 6 toward Hawley and Route 507 near Lake Wallenpaupack are scouting candidates. The date depends on foliage, weather, route conditions and permissions.
Room option
Use Club 1BD as an intimacy reference, not a template to copy. Test originals, edits and set arc at truthful scale with a cooperating room and genuine interest.
No crowd size, RSVP target, recurring event or automatic clip package is required.
Later option
Use only when a verified guest and real musical connection make the session better. No collaborator is currently assumed or announced.
