This came out of the audit sideways and it turned out to be the most valuable thing I found. Your Pocono Builders Association presidency is a marketing asset that is currently doing no marketing. Backlinks, a podcast, an awards program, a hiring pipeline and twenty warm commercial relationships, and almost none of it touches Mesko Glass online. This page is what to do about it.
Backlinks from real local organizations are one of the strongest and least gameable signals in local search. You belong to two builders associations and hold office in one. That is authority most businesses have to earn slowly, and you already have it.
| Source | What it gives you | Status |
|---|---|---|
| PBA Member Directory poconobuilders.org | A live listing with a link to your site, in the "Find a Professional" path homeowners are pointed to | Listing exists. Needs auditing, category, description, correct URL, correct phone |
| PBA Association Leadership page | Your name and company on the governing page of the county's building trade | Already live. Make sure it links to meskoglasscompany.com |
| Digital Directory & Buyer's Guide 2026 Membership Directory | A published, indexable directory homeowners and builders actually reference | Verify the entry and expand it beyond a one-liner |
| Lehigh Valley Builders Association lvba.org | A second association backlink, and the only legitimate Lehigh Valley signal you own | Listing exists but shows "East Stroudsberg", misspelled. Fix it |
| PBA News & "Members Giving Back" | Earned placements, each one a fresh link and a story | Nothing from Mesko that I can find |
| Monroe County business directory | Already lists you under Glass & Mirrors with Eric as contact | Live. Confirm the link and category are right |
This is the single best opportunity on this page and it already exists.
The PBA runs a podcast. You are the president. You have both the authority to appear on it and the standing to shape it.
You have also already proven you are good at this format. In May you sat for a 30-minute interview with YMI Insurance about the company history and the building everyone in town recognizes. That is exactly the muscle this uses.
An episode on glass, glazing and what builders get wrong when they spec it late. Educational, not a sales pitch, and it positions Mesko as the technical authority in the county.
Most association podcasts are audio-only and under-produced. Filming it, cutting clips and giving the PBA usable video costs R0BATO very little and makes you the member who upgraded the association's flagship channel.
One recording becomes a long-form video, four to six clips for Reels and Shorts, a Google Business Profile post, and a page on your own site. You are not making content twice.
Podcast page links, show notes and member spotlights are all additional indexable mentions of Mesko Glass on a trusted local domain.
The PBA runs real events and almost nobody covers them properly. That is a gap Mesko can fill at nearly zero cost, because R0BATO is already coming to shoot you.
An awards program you preside over. Two plays here: enter your own commercial work, the Ertle curtain wall is a legitimate submission, and cover the event on video so the association gets something it has never had.
The most photographed and least filmed event any trade association runs. A short recap film with every sponsor logo in it is the kind of thing members share for you, and your name sits on it as president.
Short speaker clips and member highlights. Cheap to capture when we are already on site, and it gives the association a content stream it currently does not have.
The association already publishes community work. If Mesko does anything charitable, and most 68-year family businesses quietly do, that is an earned placement with a link attached.
Every builder, lumber yard, bank and contractor in that membership is a potential commercial glazing customer. A film that makes them look good, made by the president's company, does more for Mesko's B2B pipeline than any ad you could buy. It is the warmest possible way to be seen doing excellent work.
You posted a shower glass installer role at $22.78 to $27.44 an hour, willing to train the right person. Labour is a real ceiling on how much work you can take. Two things on your own board address it directly.
The association hosts a job board. Your opening should be on it, and as president you are the most visible employer in the room.
They sit on your 2026 board. That is a direct line to a school producing exactly the young tradespeople you are trying to hire, and a relationship you already have.
The association runs one. A glass-trade scholarship, or simply being visible in the existing one, puts Mesko in front of families choosing a trade.
Year-round work, tools provided, training for the right person. Almost nobody in the trades makes hiring video. Coming from the association president it reaches every trade family in the county at once.
The fastest content to make is content someone else also wants to share. Your board is full of businesses whose work touches yours.
RGB Custom Home Builders, Robert Ace Builders, R.W. Buff, Rinehimer, GAK, Nauman, Xavier, Spread Eagle. A finished home with your glass in it is one shoot and two companies posting it.
Blue Ridge Lumber, 84 Lumber, Shine Hill Stone. Supply-chain partners share vendor content readily, and a local flooring company already made a Vendor Spotlight video about Mesko that you never matched.
Builder-facing, not homeowner-facing. Lead times, what to spec, what goes wrong when glass gets ordered late. That is association-president content, and it converts because of who is saying it.
First Keystone, Peoples Security, Movement Mortgage, Alera. Not glass customers, but they refer builders and homeowners constantly and they notice who is visible.
Ordered by effort. The first three cost nothing but a few emails you are uniquely positioned to send.
